1.   The President brought the Meeting to order at 19:40 hours. The following members were present: 
 

3.   The minutes of the previous meeting 23 March 1999 were read by the secretary. There were no omissions or errors. 
Moved by the secretary that the minutes be adopted as read. Seconded by Butch Thompson          Carried.

4.   The treasurer was absent. Nil report.

5.   Reports: 

   a.   Old Business: 

Sherm Embree presented an overview to the museum staff,  Dr. Jack Granatstein (Project Director) Mr. Charles
Gruchy (Museum Director) and James Whitham (Curator  Vimy House) on the submarine feasabilty study. They
were then presented the complete report for evaluation and use. Brief details are on page 6 of the newsletter.

   b.  New Business:  

The President made a motion to investigate registering the Association name. Communication with the President
of the West Coast Chapter was met with favourable comments. If this is feasable costs would be split by both
chapters.  Seconded by Butch Thompson.   Carried.

6.   It was moved that the meeting be adjourned at 20:35 by Gerry Rutherford, seconded by Tony O'Hara.      Carried. 

The winner of the 50/50 draw was Terry Wyss,  the member was present. The sum of $70.50 was won.
