1.    The name of the organization is the:

                          "SUBMARINER'S ASSOCIATION OF CANADA". 

        2.     The badge of the Association is as shown on this letterhead. 

        3.     The purpose of the Association is: 

                  (I)     to provide an opportunity for persons, who share a unique 
                             background as submariners, to meet in fellowship;  

                  (II)   to foster and build on that good friendship, goodwill and 
                            esprit de corps which members experienced during their 
                            service in whatever Navy; 

                  (III)  to provide such support and assistance to other submariners,
                            whether members or not, as is considered necessary or is 
                            requested commensurate with the resources of the Association; 
                            and 

                 (IV)   to liaise with kindred organizations, both nationally and 
                            internationally. 
  

        4.      The purpose of the Association shall be carried out without purpose
                   of gain for it's members and profits or accretions to the resources of
                   the Association shall be used for  promoting it's purpose. 

        5.     In the event of dissolution of the Association, funds and assets of the
                  Association after the satisfaction of it's debts and liabilities shall be
                  transferred to any successor organization  with the same purpose, or
                 divided pro rata amongst the regular members of the Association.
